Tom Higginbottom Joins the Young British Metals Recyclers Committee
By Paul Fears | 06 February 2023
Bunting Technical Sales Engineer, Tom Higginbottom, has joined the British Metal Recyclers Association’s Young British Metals Recyclers (YBMR) committee.
The Young British Metal Recyclers Association meets up to four times annually and focuses on events, networking and training opportunities for members under 40 years of age. The YBMR provides members with learning and development along with bespoke training to enhance their knowledge and own reputation with their peers. Members use the forum to develop customer relationships, whilst gaining valuable experience for career progression.
Tom Higginbottom joined Bunting in March 2017 as a Technical Sales Engineer. Since joining, Tom has developed a reputation as a metal separation equipment specialist, regularly visiting sites to advise on ways to improve metal recovery and separation.
At Bunting’s Customer Experience Centre in Redditch, UK, Tom regularly conducts material tests on a wide range of metal separation technology. This hands-on approach enables Tom to gain a better in-depth understanding of a metal separation objective.
“Since Bunting joined the BMRA, we have become increasingly involved, with several visits to our Customer Experience Centre,” explained Tom. “Joining the YBMR committee is a very exciting opportunity and I am really looking forward to working with fellow members from different sectors of the metal recycling world.”
