Skip Hire Magazine Visits Master Magnets
By Paul Fears | 19 February 2019
A visit from Scott Golland and Richard Hollis from Skip Hire Magazine provided us with an ideal opportunity to update them on exciting developments at our Redditch plant. Following announcing a 25% growth in sales in 2018 on 2017, we have started the year strongly with three (3) orders for Stainless Steel Magnetic Separators.

“We’ve always had great support from the Skip Hire Magazine team,” said Jonathan Millington, our Marketing Manager. “They regularly feature our news and industry commentary in their magazine including the recent ‘Contamination hinders plastic recycling‘ article. We’ve also exhibited at every one of their Waste Expos. The visit gave us an opportunity to show our manufacturing capabilities and discuss our exciting plans for 2019.”
During the visit, Scott and Richard were given a tour of the plant. With the ongoing growth, the shop floor was very busy with Overband Magnets, Pulley Magnets and Eddy Current Separators at varying stages of assembly. They were also shown the dedicated Metal Detector manufacturing area. Metal Detectors are increasingly used in the recycling and waste sector.
Having the ability to test customer materials is vitally important and the visitors were shown the mineral processing laboratory featuring both high intensity dry and wet magnetic separators. However, it is the Stainless Steel Magnetic Separators that are hot news at present. Scott and Richard saw the SSSC and HISC models in a new recycling test area. Both were prepared for customer demonstrations later than day.
“It is really important to regularly keep the industry media informed,” explained Jonathan, “and there is no better way than touring our plant.”
