Description
The meTRON 05 CR Metal Detector automatically and continuously detects tramp metal in non-metallic and non-conductive materials. Digital signal evaluation combined with innovative evaluation procedures, comprehensive self-monitoring and easy operation ensure the optimal functioning of the system as well as the secure passing of all kinds of audits. The devices are complemented by an extensive range of accessories and variants; from multi-frequency technologies to test specimens and material certificates.
The meTRON 05 CR is designed for identifying metal contamination in material transported in pipelines, pneumatic conveyors, and in free-fall. The available dimensions are suitable for assembly in pipelines from 30 mm to 450 mm.
Operation
As with other Metal Detectors, on detecting any tramp metal, a signal is generated in the search coil and transmitted to the control unit. This signal is processed and used to control other circuits, which include stopping the product feed and operating audible or visual alarms.
