New Business Relationship Flourishes Following RWM Order

This year’s RWM has had mixed reviews from exhibitors, with the move to the larger halls meaning that visitors had to walk further and the halls looked emptier, despite the claims of larger visitor numbers. Although the numbers of enquiries that many companies received were down on previous years, it is not always about quantity and Master Magnets were very pleased with what resulted from several high-quality leads.
Master Magnets were particularly pleased to meet with an equipment dealer looking for a magnet supplier to complement the existing range of recycling equipment that they offer. The company had an immediate requirement for an Overband, which was to be sent to Italy for a plastic processing application.
Sales Engineer Alison Flower followed up with the customer and explains;
“With all of our enquiries we aim to get quotations to customers on the same day. We know that this is really appreciated by our clients as responding quickly will often ensure that customers are able to meet important deadlines. g cloud In this instance not only did the customer want a quotation within the hour, the magnet needed to be delivered urgently too!”
Having looked at the specification Alison identified a suitable specification of magnet, however with lead time being such an important factor, a more common magnet size was also specified as an alternative. The alternative magnet was more powerful, but the price difference was negligible and proved to be the deal clincher for the customer.
Managing Director, Adrian Coleman takes up the story;
“We try to keep a selection of Overband Magnets in stock to enable us to respond to such requests, however due to the high volume of orders received since Easter this year, maintaining the stock levels has been challenging. Fortunately, the Master Magnets factory holds a wide range of stock parts ready to produce the majority of our magnet models and we were able to manufacture the magnet within a week.”
