“Being a member of the bvse ensures that we are aware of the latest changes in any recycling-related policy and market dynamics in Germany and Europe,” explained Christopher Gabriel, Bunting’s Central & North Europe Sales Manager.

The bvse was founded in 1949 as the ‘Altpapierverband eV’ and renamed ‘Bundesverband Papierrohstoffe eV’ in 1969. In 1993, following a growth in the awareness of the issue of waste management, the association was renamed ‘bvse-Bundesverband Sekundärrohstoffe und Entsorgung’.

“The ability to recycle is dictated by the ability to segregate and separate individual waste materials,” said Christopher. “At Bunting, we specialise in solutions to identify and separate metal, whether that is for metal recovery or to cleanse the waste product such as in plastic waste.”

Bunting design and manufacture a wide range of metal separators including:

“By being a member of such a prestigious association, we will gain a better, first-hand understanding of metal separation issues facing the industry. This will enable us to enhance and develop existing and new technology,” explained Christopher.

With their Master Magnets brand of equipment, Bunting has a long-standing history of supplying magnetic separators to recycling companies in Europe.

“We are looking forward to attending association events and meeting industry professionals,” said Christopher.
