Hillhead Success for Bunting

By Paul Fears | 03 July 2024

The Hillhead quarrying, construction and recycling show (Buxton, UK, 25-27 June, 2024) was blessed with a decent spell of weather for the throngs of international visitors.  Bunting’s ideally located stand, on the downslope towards the pavilion, was busy for the whole 3-days.

Bunting has exhibited at Hillhead for decades, with metal detectors, magnetic separators and eddy current separators for the aggregate and construction waste recycling sectors.  The 2024 Hillhead Show provided the perfect platform to meet old and existing clients, as well as introducing the advanced metal separation technology to potential new clients.

“Hillhead brings the industry together like no other exhibition,” explained Tom Higginbottom, Bunting’s Technical Sales Engineer.

Demonstrations of the TN77 Metal Detector’s capability of ignoring belt clips proved to be one of many popular attractions on the Bunting stand.

Bunting also sold the ElectroMax Overband Magnet on display on the stand.  With over 120 sold and installed since the product release in April 2019, the lightweight but ultra-powerful ElectroMax Overband Magnet has proven popular in the quarrying, mining and recycling sectors.

“Correctly selected and installed metal detectors and magnetic separators save quarrying companies from downtime and significant repair costs associated with tramp metal contamination,” said Tom.  “Our decades of experience ensure the best tramp metal separation or detection solution is recommended.”
